Kind People and Beautiful Scenery
The Bohemian Village is ultimately a peaceful town with a mild climate and friendly people who would notice you from the first sight and will readily offer a helping hand, especially when it comes to finding your way. 16th Century Church and Palace
If you would love some old sights, then the Bohemian Village is the place to be. Iglesia de Nuestra Senora de la Expectacion, which is a 16th-century church, is located here. The church features the sculpture of Christ, which is believed to be the work of renowned artist Juan Montanes. It’s also home to the fascinating Baroque façade.
After spending some time in the church, consider visiting one of the many atmospheric cafes that line up in the main street near the ancient church to have a taste of bohemian foods and drinks. With that said, the high chances are that you’ll fall in love with the choice of hotels and lodgings in this village town. Most of these hotels come with boutique accommodation for the comfort you’ve not had before. But, of course, you want to be sure to choose hotels with balconies or windows that afford you views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the countryside of Orgiva.
You can also head to the Palace of the Counts of Sastago and have firsthand experience of what the palace of the Great Captain Don Gonzalo Fernandez looked like.
